Resort Wear for Anywhere

What to pack for vacation? Three new resort lines are here to help.

It’s resort season in fashion. Which means that whether or not you find yourself in a resort anytime soon, the stores have plenty of covetable styles to transport you to a beachy state of mind. And for those of you lucky enough to be decamping for warmer climes, comes the eternal question: What to pack? Happily, these three new companies have some tips, tricks (palo sticks and dust bags are involved) and lots of pretty things that will help answer the query.

LHD: The Prints Mistress
Suffice to say, Laure Hériard Dubreuil, the chic owner of the Webster, a Miami Beach boutique now with an outpost in SoHo, knows a thing or two about travel. By her own account, she spends half of her time in the air, crisscrossing the globe for work and pleasure. She has channeled much of her hard-won travel wisdom into a new venture: LHD, a ready-to-wear line that was introduced last month and aims to make packing a cinch.
“It’s full of sunshine,” Ms. Dubreuil said of the line. “It’s very colorful and very fun and easy to mix and match.” Eschewing any notion that neutrals are the safest bet, the line is an explosion of prints and patterns — best worn, she believes, all at once.
“I wear a lot of colors and prints, and people always ask me how to mix them,” Ms. Dubreuil said. Anchored by ladylike silhouettes and breezy fabrics, LHD’s riotous patterns are made for layering, which, she said, is the key to avoiding a jam-packed suitcase.
