Founder of the very chic The Webster boutiques in the United States, Laure Heriard Dubreuil presents her own brand, LHD, inspired by her summer wardrobe, exclusively at Le Bon Marche.
Laure Heriard Dubreuil knows how to capture your feelings. It is the “ideal suitcase for going on vacation”. LHD, her new brand, uses sunshine with poppy prints, vintage-inspired ruffled dresses, bucket hats and flower prints inspired by Miami, her adopted city. Laure, 41, has lived in New York for many years, but it is Florida where she opened her first store, The Webster, in the heart of Miami Beach. It seemed natural to come back here, at Le Bon Marche, to present in Europe, in a dazzling pop-up, her first line as a designer. “I was encouraged by my clients and friends, I referenced my own wardrobe, the pieces I like to wear all summer from year to year, that have weathered with time. I like clothes that age well”. Impeccable styles, easy to mix styles, rich fabrics made in Italy or Japan: silk, cotton, linen, cashmere…bright colors. Inspired by the architecture of Miami, the still lifes of Matisse, Hans Feurer’s vitaminized photos or the paintings of Alex Katz or Katherine Bernhardt, as is evident from the Instagram mood board of this contemporary art lover.
For accessories, Laure Heriard Dubreuil continues her exclusive collaborations as initiated by The Webster: Pierre Hardy’s brogues, Aurelie Bidermann’s mobile earrings, Maison Michel’s stitched straw hat, La Bouche Rouge lip balm, Linda Farrow’s sunglasses, Eres bikini. All that is missing is the suitcase! Next destination after The Miami Collection? “Saint Tropez, in June, my godmother has a house, I grew up there”.
