In preparation for Art Basel Miami Beach this week, LHD explored the Miami art world by way of the newly re-opened Bass Museum of Art. We invited Sarah Harrelson, Founder and Editorial Director of Whitehaus Media Group and dedicated supporter of Miami's museums and galleries, and her beyond cool and equally art savvy daughters, Audrey and India along for the occasion. They styled themselves in their favorite LHD pieces and while talking all things South Beach, fashion, beauty and Art Basel, explored the exhibit by Pascale Marthine Tayou. Just like LHD, the exhibit was at once electrifying and colorful and reflective of the spirit of Miami Beach.

Pascale Marthine Tayou’s Welcome Wall (2015) welcomes visitors in over 70 languages, which speaks to the international and transient nature of Miami Beach.
Hundreds of chalk pieces make up Pascale Marthine Tayou's colorful Fresque de Craies (2015) which is juxtaposed with stacked Arabic pots.
Pascale Marthine Tayou's plastic eggs surround a piece from The Bass' permanent collection, creating a dialog between contemporary art and historical works.
Audrey has modeled for Bruce Weber, PORTER magazine and Frame and poses like a pro in front of Pascal Marthine Tayou’s Welcome Wall wearing LHD’s The North Shore Sweater and The Collins Avenue Shorts. Digging her freshly chopped bangs? She cut them herself and has mastered the perfect topknot to show them off.
Audrey and sister India turn themselves into works of art, and show mom how it’s done. India wears The Bay Shore Top and The Raleigh Skirt. Sarah, still opting for a smile over the omnipresent selfie duck face, wears The Glades Dress.
India, who schooled team LHD with hair and makeup tips she’s learned from YouTube tutorials, is a work of art herself in The Coconut Grove Dress and her milk-maid braids.

Sarah is on the board of the Bass Museum and has a wealth of knowledge regarding the Miami art scene, as well as a killer sense of personal style.
